Richard Mladek

Richard is CTO and co-founder of Era Compute, where he leads the development of technical systems that make European AI capacity easier to understand and access. His work spans compute-market intelligence, infrastructure software, and the technical design of new products for buyers and data center operators.

Before founding Era Compute, Richard worked on developer tools and studied LLM behaviour. In 2026, he joined the Entrepreneur First Bridge cohort and spent time interviewing researchers, chip manufacturers, data center operators, and infrastructure buyers across Europe and the United States.

His writing connects infrastructure with the strategic questions surrounding frontier AI. He focuses on compute availability, cybersecurity, model access, and the systems required to train and operate advanced AI in Europe.

Richard is also an International Master in chess. He brings the same interest in complex systems, long-range planning, and decision-making under uncertainty to his technical work.
